The footpath passes through a tight sandstone corridor leading to stairs, known as the "Brèche de Bièra" (Biera's Gap) along Denecourt Trail number 11 Eest (sentier Denecourt n°11 est, Le Restant du Long Rocher) in the Fontainebleau forest, France. Denecourt gave names to rock formations and other curiosities along the trails he created, often with literary, artistic, historic or mythological references. Biera is a reference to the previous name of the Fontainebleau forest: forêt de Bière (Biere forest).
