The footpath weaves though ferns and trees along Denecourt Trail number 6 (sentier Denecourt n°6, Les Gorges d'Apremont) in the Fontainebleau forest of France. Unlike straight previous footpaths in the Fontainebleau forest, which were made only for transportation or hunting, the trails created by Claude François Denecourt are serpentine meander around interesting natural features. Hikers on Denecourt trails need to curve and dip around trees, rocks and even tunnels as they make their way through the forest.
